Thurs, 26 June: Independent  flight to London Heathrow (In flight meals)

Fri, 27 June:  Arrive at London Heathrow this morning and transfer to our 4*
hotel in the city. The rest of the day is free for to relax or visit some of London’s
sights. Independent dinner this evening.  
 
Sat, 28 June: We have a great opportunity to shop for bargains at one of the
many open markets held throughout
London on Saturdays and Sundays. Try
Bermondsey or Nottinghill for antiques and crafts, or Spittalfield’s for some
marvey sweets. Evensong at
Westminster Abbey is wonderful and the city lights
seen from the
London Eye are most impressive! B

Sun, 29 June
: Start early today - see one of London’s great museums. Enjoy
the performing arts with a visit to
Shakespeare’s Globe, or try the half-price
booth in
Leicester Square to see a West End play. Shop and have traditional
English Tea at Brown’s or Fortnum and Masons.

Mon, 30 June: Morning coach transfer to the Cotswolds with a stop at exquisite
Blenheim Palace.  After checking into the lovely historic Manor House Hotel in
the village of
Moreton-in-Marsh this afternoon, we will enjoy tea in a lovely
English garden.  Light meal this evening at the hotel.

Tues, 1 July: After breakfast we visit the beautiful garden rooms of Hidcote
Manor Gardens
, then on to ancient Sudeley Castle to explore ten different
gardens! This afternoon’s visit will be to the
Beckford Silk Mill for an insight in
to the art of silk making and perhaps pick up a bargain too!

Wed, 2 July: This morning we visit Coughton Court and have the opportunity to
wander around some of its 25 acres of gardens and grounds. This afternoon we
visit
Kiftsgate Court Gardens, the creation of three generations of women
gardeners.

Thurs, 3 July:  Attend the International Festival of Gardens at Westonbirt
Arboretum and view the many different imaginative gardens on exhibit to pick up
some unusual ideas to incorporate in our own gardens back home. Return to our
hotel for evening meal.

Fri, 4 July: Today is entirely at leisure. Explore beautiful Moreton-in-Marsh,
stroll the
River Windrush flowing through the middle of the village, visit another
charming garden, village or stately mansion via public transport. After dinner,
enjoy an exciting opera at the nearby
Longborough Opera House. BD

Sat, 5 July: This morning we set off early on our journey to London Heathrow,
stopping on the way to visit magnificent
Waddesdon Manor.  Farewell to
England!
